He/she is in contact with the EPD country and area Finance counterparts as well as with other functional stakeholders in the Division ensuring clear and transparent communication and qualitative forecast data loads into EPD planning system.</p><br /><p style="color:!important"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Core Job Responsibilities:</span></b></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Prepare and Maintain EPD planning systems by ensuring data integrity, creating ad-hoc templates, solving daily tickets, and escalating to technical support whenever appropriate.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Conduct necessary checks and coordinate with relevant business units to ensure high-quality forecast data is accurately and timely loaded into the system.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Perform month end activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations and support month end close activities.</span></li><li>Coordinate annual budget transfers and plan load activities.</li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Orchestrate Global Product and Geographic hierarchy planning for future year.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Identify and drive process improvements, including creation and continuous improvement of standard reports and dashboards and drive key projects at divisional level.</span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Position Accountability/Scope:</span></b></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">The EPD HQ Financial Analyst is accountable for the quality and timeliness of financial reports of this scope of responsibility. He is technology savvy and acts as the divisional single-point of contact and subject matter expert for EPD planning system SAC.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Cultivates a wide range of internal networks and begins to develop an external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks and proactively identifying potential discrepancies.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Receives limited supervision on standard issues, and detailed instructions on new assignments.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">May demonstrate basic project management skills by acting as a project lead on small, well-defined projects or by giving extended support on larger projects.</span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Minimum Education:</span></b></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Master’s degree (or comparable degree) would be preferred</span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Minimum Experience/Training Required:</span></b></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, general accounting and or financial reporting</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Experience working with SAC Planning tool (or equivalent) is required</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry would be an asset</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Experience in coordinating multiple relationship at the international level would be an asset</span></li><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Basic Programming skills</span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Competencies/Attributes:</span></b></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:inherit">Solid technical acumen.
