As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced, visionary Biochar and Climate Specialist .

Location & working model
On-site at EASY-CERT group offices in Austria or Switzerland, with flexibility for partial remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive customer acquisition through introductory calls and by hosting information sessions/webinars on our standards, including Biochar Quality (ex. EBC) and C-Sink Standards.
- Support new projects from early onboarding through registration, validation, and verification processes within the framework of Carbon Standards International.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers and partners, providing technical and expert guidance regarding biochar production and C-Sink registration.
- Contribute to the development of concepts, operational processes, and system solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest scientific and policy developments related to biochar and carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
- Represent the company in technical and expert working groups on biochar-related topics.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental or climate-related fields
- Specialization in pyrolysis technologies and biochar production.
- Excellent communication skills and/ or work experience in direct customer interaction. And sales flair is of great value to successfully pick up customers
- The ability to understand regulatory and standard requirements and translate them into practical operational processes.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and German (additional languages a plus).
