Triveni Power Transmission Business is a global technology provider that provides innovative gearboxes, products and services for a wide range of applications, including gearboxes for compressors, pumps, power generation, and naval applications. At our main factory in Mysuru, India, we develop, design, manufacture and supply High Speed Turbo gearboxes, special gearboxes and components for various industrial and naval applications for almost 50 years with around 500 employees. Our turbo gearboxes are in operation worldwide for various customers in the oil and gas industry, several power producers and other key industries. As part of our Europe office expansion, we are looking for a committed individual who will take over, continue, and further develop our sales activities while bringing in new ideas. The role is available immediately and is full-time.

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

For the newly formed team, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Area Sales Manager (f/m/d) for our Schaffhausen office, who will support our customers and partners with their expertise. Your tasks

Take on technical and commercial responsibility for the countries assigned to you

• Actively sell of our product portfolio
• Manage and further develop existing customer relationships
• Carrying out customer support and sales tasks independently
• Support of our inside sales team with prepare budgetary quotations and customized offers
• Be responsible for sales controlling, including the preparation of reports, forecasts, and project pipelines
• Conduct industry, market, and competitor analyses
• Participate in trade fairs
• Sporadic visits at Triveni Power Transmission's main plant in Mysuru

Your expertise

• Technical basic training with further education in engineering or business administration
• At least 3 years’ international sales experience, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering. Proven experience with gearboxes is a major advantage.
• Strong affinity for processes and a structured way of working
• A committed team player with a strong customer focus
• Good conceptual and organizational skills
• A digitally skilled personality with solid IT knowledge
• Very good command of German and English and additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel from Schaffhausen both within Switzerland and abroad, and therefore to live in the immediate vicinity or to move to the Schaffhausen area
