Studying civil engineering and looking for a part-time role that is actually relevant to your degree, with flexible hours and fully remote? OI Wild GmbH is a Swiss software company developing structural engineering calculation tools. We build web-based applications and AxisVM plugins for structural verifications according to Swiss standards (SIA, TWK) and Eurocode, used by engineers across Switzerland and Europe. We are looking for a student assistant to support our quality assurance process on an hourly basis.

Responsibilities

As a student assistant, you will:

• Test our calculation software against defined test cases and document the results.
• Review technical documentation and engineering formulas for plausibility and correctness.
• Perform manual structural calculations to verify software output.
• Report findings in a structured and reproducible way.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in civil or structural engineering at a Swiss university or university of applied sciences.
• Solid understanding of statics, structural analysis and reinforced concrete design.
• A precise, structured and independent working style.
• Good written communication skills in English and German.
• Interest in software, digital tools and the modernisation of engineering workflows.
