Your role:
To ensure Daedalean’s Design Organization (DO) maintains full compliance with EASA Part 21 Subpart J, leading internal audits, managing compliance risks, and maintaining quality across all design and certification activities.

- Plan, conduct, and report internal audits in line with EASA Part 21 and the DMS.
- Track findings and corrective actions to closure.
- Lead management reviews and coordinate external audits (e.g., EASA).
- Maintain and refine the Surveillance Plan based on risk and audit results.
- Classify findings and ensure timely resolution.
- Report risks to the Head of Design Organization, Head of Office of Airworthiness, and Safety Manager.
- Execute and improve the Quality Assurance Plan across all design and certification functions.
- Review technical records, checklists, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in engineering lifecycle reviews (e.g., Planning Process Review).
- Promote corrective/preventive actions with engineering leads.
- Ensure traceability and configuration control in accordance with the Configuration Management Plan.
- Lead quality training initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- 5+ years in aviation, aerospace quality, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part 21 Subpart J and certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
- Audit training/certification (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership in compliance, quality systems, and audit coordination.
- Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A team of experienced engineers and researchers, who joined us from most recognized companies and institutions.
