As Group Capital & Funding Specialist, you will join a lean and high-impact team at the core of Julius Baer Group Treasury. In this role, you will primarily take end-to-end ownership of critical capital and funding transactions as well as managing the liquidity of the listed holding company.
Working alongside experts in Treasury, Risk, Finance, Legal, Operations and more, you will gain broad exposure across the organisation while delivering high priority initiatives with visible outcomes.
Success in this role means operating with a high degree of independence, driving cross-functional processes and engaging routinely with senior stakeholders. IHRE AUFGABEN
As a member of the Group Capital & Funding team, you will play a key role with following main responsibilities:

Driving the planning and execution of internal and external capital transactions, including hybrid capital, debt financings and equity injections, from initiation to settlement

Managing the annual internal dividend process, coordinating collections across subsidiaries in compliance with local regulations and Group timelines

Preparing and executing equity injections, capital reductions and/or debt financings of legal entities in close collaboration with tax, legal and regional CFOs

Evaluating and supporting the execution of risk transfer transactions as well as asset backed funding structures

Overseeing the liquidity management of Julius Baer Group Ltd, the listed parent company, ensuring optimal cash positioning

Contributing to the Group insurance policies management with a focus on financial lines in cooperation with the insurance broker

Assisting in the management of relationships with Julius Baer’s primary investment banking partners, contributing to market soundings and transaction preparations
With strong performance, you will have the opportunity to lead defined workstreams and serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external advisers.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone proactive, experienced and ready to take on substantive responsibility:

University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in debt capital markets / corporate finance at an Investment Bank; additional treasury experience within a financial institution is a plus

Solid project management skills, with experience in coordinating stakeholders across multiple functions and regions

Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Office, including data analysis in Excel and preparing high-quality presentations in PowerPoint

Independent, resilient, and team‑oriented personality, able to deliver high quality results under pressure while paying attention to details

Self-starter with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset and a track record of driving initiatives independently

Structured approach to work with proven ability to manage processes from end to end, including operational tasks

Fluent in English and German; additional language skills are an advantage
