As a working student, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of topics, collaborating with a diverse team in an open and supportive atmosphere. You’ll be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table and help us build the data foundations for tomorrow.
What you will do
Engineer data pipelines: Develop, maintain and optimize ETL workflows to ingest, process, and structure property data from diverse sources. using modern data engineering tools and practices
Architect data solutions: Design scalable data models and warehouses to enable advanced analytics use cases
Enable data accessibility: Build self-service tools for stakeholders to access curated datasets (replacing manual data requests, mainly in Power BI)
Documentation: Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation by preparing manuals and supporting workshops for handovers
What you bring
Solid programming skills in Python (preferably PySpark) or SQL
Experience or strong interest in cloud platforms (Azure) and data pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar)
Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration concepts
Initiative and an enterprising, hands-on mentality
Experience with MS Office 365 and the willingness to explore and leverage different Microsoft tools
Very strong (native-level) German language skills, Business intermediate in English
You must be located in Switzerland or able to travel and base yourself in Switzerland for the duration of the working student contract
You need to be enrolled at a university or center of further education during the internship
