Inbound Specialist
Lead all aspects of product supply from local and international factories, monitor shipments, manage tax stamps, handle market returns, and coordinate nationwide goods movement with team members.
As the Inbound Specialist in the area of Logistics and Importation, you will:
FINISHED GOODS
Coordinate the movement of Finished Goods, including technical local importation and transfers from overflow warehouses to the main warehouse.. This may include oversight of hustling or transfers from overflow warehouse to main warehouse.
MARKET RETURNS or BAD ORDER DISPOSAL
Collaborate with the Modern Trade, Sales, Customer Finance, Customer Service, GBS O2C, Warehouse, and Vendor teams to coordinate the retrieval of market returns. These returns will be processed for disposal and transported to the designated facility. Share relevant reports to keep collaborators informed of progress.
PRODUCT SAMPLES
Send samples to QA for testing as requested by the inventory control team or others.
FINISHED GOODS (Government)
Liaise with Customs Brokers and/or Excise Team to ensure timely processing of necessary government permits and payments for importation until the finished goods are released from customs.
Ensure timely and accurate archiving of pertinent import documents for audit purposes, including certificates and permits related to government agencies like BOC, BIR, and DTI.
TAX STAMPS
Coordinate local transfers of tax stamps for locally produced finished goods. For imported goods, coordinate the export of tax stamps with Customs and Excise, Planning, and Vendors as needed.
NON-FINISHED GOODS
Coordinate all non-FG items stored in the central warehouse, including documentation of all movements. Provide support for other branches requesting transfers or disposal of non-FG items, including POSMs.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
Monitor all scheduled shipments to customers to ensure timely and complete deliveries. Review billings for services provided by vendors according to approved contract rates and acknowledge expenses by conducting GR postings in SAP. Submit claims to vendors as necessary and ensure they are accurately recorded and monitored until resolved.
Requirements:
Possess a Degree in BS Industrial / Management Engineering or Business Admininistration preferably under Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent.
College Graduate or equivalent years of experience in Supply Chain (end to end) or Transport Management is an advantage.
- Requires at least 5 years experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain in the FMCG industry
- Experience in Third Party Logistics is an advantage. Experience working with 3PL, Truckers, Forwarders, and Port Operators is also beneficial.
- Required experience in dealing with customs and knowledge in customs clearance.
Experience dealing with government agencies such as BIR, DTI, and NTA (National Tobacco Administration) is a plus
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Functional Skills:
Must be computer literate (excel, word and powerpoint at the least). SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
- Good process and people management skills.
- Strong drive for results and attention to detail.
- Resourceful with high problem-solving skills.
