Global Product Manager Solutions Development

Digital workflows play an important role when restoring single to full arch indications improving customer experience and shortening treatment time. Continuous innovation of workflows and competitive solutions is crucial to reinforcing Straumann leadership in the premium dental implant market.

The role holder is responsible for driving solution innovation from idea to launch as a member of our Global Product Management SDIS (Straumann Dental Implant Systems) team. The overall goal is to develop restorative workflows to help customers achieve predictable clinical outcomes faster in indications defined by the Growth Leads in the Global Product Management team.

This role requires a thorough understanding of customers’ workflows (clinic and lab), to identify their needs and user experience and translate them into new solutions they are willing to pay for. The capability to break down complex challenges into executive steps, collaborate in a matrix environment and motivate and engage stakeholders is crucial.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Understand growth opportunities defined by Growth Leads.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, voice of customer, and customer visits to identify how customers restore today and how we can introduce value beyond products.
  • Translate customer needs, market trends into actionable solution development strategies, ensuring impact on defined growth opportunities.
  • Product Development
  • Define solution specifications, features, and functionality that meet the specific needs of dental professionals and patients.
  • Work closely with R&D and Product Management teams to develop state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Champion the development and launch process to ensure quality and on time solution delivery for launch.
  • Plan and support solution launch in collaboration with the Growth Lead.

Key Stakeholders management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders, dental professionals, and scientific societies to gain insights into evolving customer needs and clinical practices.
  • Continuously align with internal stakeholders across business units in the conception and execution phase of new solutions to ensure impact.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Proficiency in English; other languages advantageous.
