Key Responsibilities
• Lead innovative technology implementation for GMP batch and continuous manufacturing processes in drug substance and drug product operations
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams across local sites and international networks (US, Ireland) for process optimization initiatives
• Drive digital transformation and automation by evaluating cutting-edge equipment and implementing next-generation manufacturing technologies
• Develop comprehensive GMP documentation including risk assessments, batch records, sampling protocols, and qualification procedures
• Mentor technical teams and provide subject matter expertise for harmonizing batch and continuous manufacturing paradigms
• Support clinical trial operations by ensuring seamless delivery of investigational products through optimized manufacturing processes
• Champion organizational change by introducing innovative solutions and modernizing operational workflows
Requirements Profile
• Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience with proven track record in process engineering roles
• Project management expertise with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex technical environments
• Deep understanding of upstream and downstream biologics operations including critical process parameters and quality attributes
• Business fluent English (C1 level) and effective German communication skills (B1 level) for international collaboration
• Strong analytical mindset with practical problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure manufacturing environments
• Quality management system experience with working knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit processes (preferred)
• Technical proficiency in automation systems such as Emerson DeltaV, SIPAT, and manufacturing process control platforms (advantageous)
