PhD student SNSF in social psychology
To be hired for the interdisciplinary research project " Turbulent times: Personal Networks and Social Identities of Swiss Young Adults (IDNET)", funded by The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). Your responsibilities
In your activities, you will have to :
• Conduct research leading to a PhD thesis within the IDNET project ( https://data.snf.ch/grants/grant/10000349 ) ;
• Contribute to the overall research agenda of the IDNET project and its related activities (team meetings, collective research activities, scientific outreach) ;
• Manage and analyse data collected within the project ;
• Participate in conferences and other project-related outreach activities to discuss your work and the project results with peers and fellow researchers ;
• Participate in the activities of the Lausanne Social Psychology Lab and actively take advantage of the opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange and interfaculty networking ;
• Take part in the Social Psychology Graduate School of the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne.

Your qualifications
The ideal candidate holds the following credentials:
• A master’s degree in psychology (ideally social psychology) or in another relevant discipline (e.g., social sciences, educational sciences) ;
• A strong background in social psychology ;
• Strong skills in quantitative methods and ability to independently perform data management and advanced analytical tasks as evidenced by MA thesis research or other relevant research activities ;
• Experience and credentials in social network analysis are an asset ;
• A collaborative attitude and interest in teamwork ;
• Fluency in English (working language), knowledge of French is an asset.
