Your field of responsibility

Join us as Compliance Officer in the Global Employee Compliance function; responsible for identifying and managing Credit Suisse risks deriving from the Bank's business model in the areas of Personal Account Trading and Outside Business Interests. Together with the team, you manage potential conflicts between employees' personal interests and the interests of the Bank and the Bank's clients. You will gain exposure to a variety of compliance processes and controls and will have an outstanding opportunity to work with business partners at all levels of the Bank. You will perform post-trade monitoring of employees' personal accounts, validate pre-clearance requests and review external securities accounts as well as processing internal policy breaches. You will also manage and review outside business activity requests to identify potential conflicts. You will advise employees on the policies and hold trainings. In addition, you will provide support in maintaining and upgrading our applications.

Your skills and experience

You have already gained between 3-5 years of experience in Private Banking, Compliance, Risk Management or similar.

  • You have a commercial apprenticeship within a banking environment; a university / FH degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance or equivalent would be an asset
  • Good financial product knowledge, good understanding of legal and regulatory regimes of financial markets
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a forward-thinking, independent and proactive personality
  • Solutions-oriented with proven skills dealing with very demanding business partners and Senior colleagues
  • Good analytical skills and expertise in MS Office Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English, French or Italian is considered as a plus
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
