We are currently recruiting an experimented Travel Retail Manager based in Le Locle. As a member of the International Sales department, your mission will be as follow :

Travel retail

  • Develop & coordinate the development of the Travel Retail Business with the affiliates and the agents throughout the world
  • Lead markets to reach sales budget in Travel Retail by formulating, executing, and following up comprehensive action plans
  • Analyze and discuss all relevant Travel Retail sales figures with markets
  • Reinforce brand presence in Travel Retail by supporting the development of our distribution, including the expansion of our boutique and SIS network within this channel
  • Ensure the implementation of the Travel Retail projects at market and HQ level
  • Coordinate between internal departments on Travel Retail issues
  • Supervise and develop analyses related to Travel Retail worldwide
  • Ensure a high stock quality and appropriate stock levels, and develop corrective strategies if needed


  • Lead markets to reach sales budget by formulating, executing, and following up comprehensive action plans
  • Support markets in the preparation of business plans
  • Define budget, Steering Committee figures, forecasts, actual- and "weekly" figures
  • Analyze and discuss all relevant sales figures, reports and KPI's with markets
  • Discuss and monitor suggested pricing level as per international strategy
  • Support in Customer Service issues
  • Coach / motivate local Brand- and Retail Managers on DF business
  • Maximize stock level at agent and POS level and ensure that stock is always at adequate level and collection adapted to customer profile
  • Work with partners on launches/product forecasts in order to secure appropriate supply


  • Evaluate and develop the Brand's presence in order to strengthen TISSOT's market position
  • Assess locations for new Point of Sales as per the brand's requirement, check space and presence and set plans for renovations, closing or expansion of the distribution
  • Follow up on renovation and new projects until physical opening
  • Assess business partnerships and opening of new markets (Strategic, Legal, Finance, Logistics implementation process)
  • Coordinate Travel Retail operations documents, merchandising guidelines to send to markets
  • Ensure that merchandising and visual guidelines are applied
  • Coordinate trainings to partners and POS staff in collaboration with HQ and local training teams
  • Follow up the certification of partners and staff on Tissot Academy and supervise the results of mystery shopping and necessary corrective measures
  • Visit regularly markets to coordinate business reviews and check Point of Sales in order to elaborate action plans and transmit brand spirit and strategy to all team members and business partners


  • Coordinate with partners and HQ marketing team the marketing and communication plan in line with the brand's global strategy for the Travel Retail Channel
  • Define marketing budget plan by partners and ensure supervision and control


  • Master degree in International Business or any other related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of sales management experience, ideally for a company with fast moving goods/products
  • Mastering computer applications such as Powerpoint and Excel
  • Solid understanding of all aspects of the retail & wholesale development process
  • Must be able to travel within assigned territory, occasionally to various locations (up to 25%)

  • Sound knowledge and expertise in sales reporting, including monthly budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to effectively present information and reports to senior management
  • Excellent organization, negotiation, presentation & interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
  • Results oriented with strong bias for action and a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Must be a self-starter who works well independently and in team environment


  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written), other languages would be a plus

Possibility to work from our remote offices (located in Bienne, Lausanne and Neuchâtel).
