Your role
The Product Coordinator – Sport Advisroy is responsible for building AISTS sport advisory – such as impact assessment, sport equipment certification, etc. – into clear, market-facing products with scientifically-rigorous methodologies and lean delivery models. The role covers two main product families: impact assessments and analysis for sport events and organisations; and sport equipment compliance/certification services for key sport equipment stakeholders (rule-makers, designers, producers, users…).
Positioning & Context
Reporting into the Product Portfolio Senior Manager, you will work in partnership with the Professors and researchers of the AISTS network. Internally, you will work closely with the B2B Development & Marketing team and the Operations & Delivery team.
This role is established as part of a new strategy adopted and rolled out by AISTS. The scope of the role may evolve according to the deployment of the strategy.
Key responsibilities
Product development
- Transform AISTS globally recognised assessment methodologies into clear, repeatable and cost-efficient products while preserving its core characteristics: scientifically rigorous and pragmatic for industry application, incl.:
-> standardised impact assessment products with economic impact as a core entry point and extensions into environmental, social & media and stakeholder/community-relevant impacts
-> independent sport equipment regulation assessment and certification processes to support key sport stakeholders – federations, event organisers, manufacturers and athletes – in guaranteeing a level-playing field companies in designing, assessing and certifying processes, operational frameworks and quality standards.
-> Develop sample outputs, case references and marketing-ready value propositions for IFs, event organisers, cities, hosts, sponsors and sport organisations.
- Create a leaner operational model that combines AISTS quality assurance with external experts, academic partners and delivery coordinators where appropriate:
-> Define product formats, methodology templates, data needs, deliverables, pricing logic, timelines and delivery roles.
-> Define what AISTS can credibly own directly versus what requires technical, legal, engineering or standards partners.
-> Establish quality assurance principles, methodology governance and documentation standards to protect AISTS credibility.
- Explore opportunities of application of existing products into other fields such as sport venues and infrastructures, innovation with new materials, compliance with emerging standards and certification, etc.
Commercial packaging and performance, governance and continuous improvement
- Work with the B2B Development & Marketing team to:
-> identify priority clients and opportunities, including IFs, event organisers, brands, technology providers and venues.
-> translate technical products into simple commercial materials, one-pagers, case studies and pitch narratives.
- Create product pricing and effort models that improve profitability compared with bespoke one-off projects
- Track project outcomes, client satisfaction, methodology improvements, cost of delivery and repeatability.
- Build a database of assessments and findings over time to enable benchmarking, recurring diagnostics and future thought leadership.

Your skills and experience
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience, in sport advisory, consulting or research capacity, preferably with experience in product management;
- Strong ability to bring ideas and methodologies into pragmatic and applicable solutions
- Business mindset, with ability to frame value propositions and pricing in line with AISTS quality and mission
- Strong understanding of Olympic and international sport ecosystem, in particular of trends and challenges of the sport industry;
- Relevant network in the sport industry and international sport organisations a strong asset;
- Familiarity with Swiss higher education environment an asset;
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office 365; experience AI solutions, data management and CRM an asset;
- Business engineering or engineering background;
- Native-level fluency in English or French, with proficiency in the other language (3rd language is a plus).
- Familiarity with AISTS activities and the MAS programme is highly valued;
- Experience related to sport (athlete, volunteer, coach or management) is highly valued;
Personal Traits: Agile, flexible with ability to adapt in all situation, reliable, highly organised and at ease with multitasking and service-oriented with strong communication skills in multicultural environments
Education: Master (MSc) degree in (Sport) Management and Business, Applied Sciences or Engineering with a keen interest for sport.
