As Head of IT Operations, you’ll own the strategic and operational IT landscape at one of Switzerland’s leading marketing agencies. Beyond ensuring reliable infrastructure and support, you’ll drive critical transformation projects like our ERP rollout, clearly articulate and implement the strategy for the company’s systems and technology landscape and work closely with our CFO, the senior management of the company and our business teams. Your leadership will elevate IT from a support function to a strategic enabler of our ambitious growth plans.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the operational, strategic, leadership and operational of the IT Operations department. Together with your team, you ensure IT governance, operations, security and the further development of systems, plan and operate IT services that are required for optimal support of the business processes and are managing the conception of IT architectures and IT services, as well as the budgeting, controlling and procurement process of IT resources and services. Working closely with the business operations head, you participate in establishing the priorities for technical and process changes within our tool landscape.
Your involvements include:
- Developing and leading a distributed team of two or more IT operations specialists and serving as a sparring partner for Management on technical and strategic IT questions
- Ensuring all internal clients receive exceptional IT service
- Managing the company's end-user devices (macOS and Windows laptops) together with your team.
- Overseeing the network and other critical business infrastructure (e.g., Projektron BCS, BLP, Abacus)
- Managing and maintaining security infrastructure (e.g., Zscaler, Google Workspace, JumpCloud) and operating and extending MDM (Mobile Device Management) and directory solutions for proactive device management and deployment
- Monitoring system utilization, handling notifications and security warnings, and initiating appropriate actions/escalations and ensuring security practices are implemented and operations adhere to security guidelines.
