BKA Basel is a private, bilingual (German and English) daycare center, kindergarten and all-day school with five different locations in Basel. Are you looking for a new challenge and are you interested in a varied and dynamic position? We are looking for a school receptionist/administrator to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your responsibilities:
Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
Manage the front desk and maintain the orderly appearance of the reception area
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure school security procedures are followed.
Maintain digitial learning/data base tools used at the school.
Provide high-level administrative support to the Principal, including calendar management, meeting coordination and confidential correspondence.
Provide additional administrative support to the Administration Team as required.
To prepare and distribute internal and external marketing and communication documentation.
Support planning and logistics for school events, trips, and assemblies.
Coordinate the ordering and distribution of classroom resources and supplies.
Monitor the tidiness and organisation of the school building.
Our profile:
Excellent veral and written English skills
Completed KV/commercial degree or equilavent
Reliable, structured, solution-oriented, sociable, team player, flexible, able to work under pressure
Good ICT skills
