Description
The Global Account Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing retailer inventory and orders, and leading new product introductions, by carrying out the following task areas:
Achieves sales targets with retailers across all regions and product lines
Monitors and manages retailer inventory levels and orders to ensure accurate sales data
Leads the new product introduction process, coordinating with marketing, commercial, and pricing teams to ensure timely product listings. Consolidate new products by region and align delisting strategies for key items.
Maintains strong collaboration and communication both internally and with retailers
Partners with internal teams to accelerate and identify commercial opportunities
Liaises with the customer service department to enhance operational efficiency and support other corporate projects
Works closely with regional commercial teams to maintain a global overview of upcoming commercial and promotional offers
Consolidates, tracks, and updates trade marketing calendars for global accounts, working closely with regional leads and brand teams
Generates monthly reports and conducts data analysis, as well as updates improve, and automate account dashboards
Supports the global client management team during major forums (Top-to-Top meetings, trade marketing meetings, annual negotiations)
Drives joint business planning with the key account lea
Profile
For this challenging and rewarding position, the ideal candidate must have:
Successfully completed bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Proven experience in account management within a global or regional context, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (data analysis, creating dashboards)
Experienced in SAP, as well as with CRM tools
Solid English skills (verbally and written)
French would be an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage inventory levels, orders, and product introductions.
Strategic thinking with the ability to drive commercial activities and identify new business opportunities.
