Asperiq is hiring a Head of Technical Operations in Baar (ZG), Switzerland, which is a pivotal role that requires high-level cross-departmental coordination between Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management. About the Role
In this capacity, you will lead program management activities, oversee pre-sales technical operations, ensure the approval of technical aspects of sales offers before sending them to customers, manage sales campaigns globally, design and enhance training programs for internal employees and customers, and act as a key liaison between Sales and Product Management. This role demands extensive experience in program management, leadership, international markets expertise, training programs design, communication skills, feedback collection from customers, and the ability to impact product development based on customer insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive technical operations activities related to customer deployments,
support, and maintenance - Own and manage product deployments end-to-end — within budget, scope, and
agreed timelines - Lead field technical specialists, on-site engineers, and customer solution engineers
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Asperiq’s secure networking and cryptographic
portfolio to design and drive customer solutions from architecture through delivery - Lead global Sales campaigns with focus on the Middle East, Africa, and Latin
America - Oversee and support pre-sales activities and opportunity management by providing technical and operational input
- Act as a “red team” to evaluate and validate offers and proposals from delivery and
commercial perspectives - Ensure compliance with support and maintenance agreements
- Utilize global partner and vendor networks to ensure highest delivery quality and
competitive pricing - Work closely with the Head of Academy to design and deliver training sessions for
employees, partners, and customers - Serve as a bridge between Sales and Product Management departments by
utilizing customer interaction data to provide valuable feedback and insights
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of proven Program Management experience in technical or secure
communications environments. Possession of relevant certifications (such as PMP,
Scrum Master, etc.) is a plus - Demonstrated leadership skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously with
attention to detail and commitment to quality - Experience working with government, defense, or other security-sensitive
customers - Strong understanding of cryptographic technologies and secure networking
architectures - Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in international markets, specifically Middle East, Africa, and Latin
America, with commercial awareness and ability to balance technical and
business perspectives - Proven expertise in training program design and execution. Possession of
certifications from other vendors is a plus - Structured, self-driven, and results-oriented personality
- Comfortable working with global partners and multicultural teams
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German knowledge, any additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel +40%, work place is Baar, Switzerland
