Wingtra provides efficient and reliable data solutions to a variety of industries ranging from mining, construction and agriculture to humanitarian organizations, environmentalists and wildlife monitoring groups.
In this role, you will lead our small but impactful Supply Chain Team with 2 Supply Chain Experts as well as our Export team with 2 more employees. You will cover the whole range of Supply Chain activities, from selection, contract negotiations, auditing, all the way to managing your part portfolio in serial production. You will have the opportunity to define policies in alignment with our overall operations strategy and deploy these to our suppliers. You will work within new product introduction projects as well as with our production team. On the export side you will make sure that inbound and outbound logistics are well aligned with customer demand and production needs, that costs are within target range and take responsibility for tracking and reporting our level of service as well as our stock. You will have close interaction with production, finance, Industrialization and R&D.

- Coordinating all SCM activities in alignment with the overall operations strategy and major stakeholders, like production and R&D
- Leading the team of 2 SCM Experts and 2 import & export experts
- Manage procurement activities for a defined supplier panel
- Propose Supply Chain Process improvements, defining and setting up lean processes with our partners to support Wingtra in scaling up
- Maintain supplier contracts throughout the product lifecycle, and participate in audits, manage supplier performance monitoring and evaluation activity at the supplier
- Achieve defined Supply Chain KPIs (Quality/On-Time Performance)
- Ensure updated and reliable information related to the suppliers and the products are in our ERP
- Develop the team
- Stakeholder management with internal (R&D, production, product management) and external stakeholders
- >5 years of Commodity, strategic or Project Buyer experience
- >2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding
- Highly analytical, being capable of solving complex challenges independently
- Strong interpersonal, reporting, negotiation and communication skills
- Audit and supplier evaluation experiences
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo) and IT/AI tools for process automation and data analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of LEAN management
- Solution-oriented, while managing priorities with different stakeholders
- Excellent fluency in English, any other language a plus
- Experience in similar industry or markets
- Knowledge in Legal
- Cultural team mindset
- Knowledge of certification and regulations e.g. ISO 9001, ISO14001
