Relationship Manager Based In Zurich
Candidates should have at least eight to ten years of work experience after graduation. While we have high expectations, Monterosa Group is also very committed to invest in the best talent. Business Development is responsible for originating new investor relationships across key markets, as well as managing and further developing existing investor relationships. The role involves close interaction with intermediaries, requiring a high degree of credibility, responsiveness, and commercial judgment. In parallel, you will contribute to the evaluation of new investment opportunities and support of product development. The position offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, as well as direct collaboration with senior management
Requirements / Experience
To succeed in this highly dynamic and challenging business environment, we are looking for an entrepreneurially spirited team player with the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field
- 8–10 years of professional experience in financial services (e.g. Family Office, Private Banking, Wealth Planning, Investment Banking, Private Equity or related advisory roles)
- Track record of self-generated business development, including examples of clients personally originated and developed over time
- Established professional network in Switzerland, ideally including entrepreneurs, family offices and professional intermediaries (e.g. lawyers, tax advisors, M&A advisors, trustees).n
- Experience in a client-facing advisory or relationship role, with excellent communication and presentation skills. The candidate should be personable, credible with entrepreneurs and UHNW clients, and able to build trust-based relationships
- Intimate knowledge of financial market products (both private and public) and financial market infrastructure
- Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts (valuation approaches, accounting principles, capital structure, transaction processes) and familiarity with investment documentation
- Excellent problem solving skills; entrepreneurial and pro-active attitude, ability to think outside the box n
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as required
- (Swiss-) German as first language; excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; French is an advantage. Valid Swiss work permit required.
