RIKI RAMEN BĀ is our take on Japan's most popular noodle soup. Founded by three friends who love ramen, it's a place where good food, a great atmosphere, and meticulous attention to detail are paramount. For our RIKI RAMEN BĀ, we're looking for a host who's eager to truly shape a small business: close to the guests, close to the team, and right in the heart of things.
We prepare our ramen fresh daily – from the noodles to the broth – and enhance each bowl with carefully selected toppings. We start with Japanese tapas. For dessert, we offer soft-serve ice cream, customized to your taste.
What began as a shared ramen feast among friends is now a ramen bar where everyone is welcome. At RIKI RAMEN BĀ, ramen is comfort food, prepared our way.
YOUR TASKS
Being a host – present in the service, approachable, attentive, and with a genuine interest in the guests
Responsibility for the entire day-to-day service operation in a small structure
Actively participating in service – wherever needed
Leading a small service team as equals: clearly, fairly, and with a keen sense of people
Designing schedules, processes, and organization so that they work well for everyone
Thinking about the economics in everyday life – from cost of goods to revenue
Ensuring that the quality, style, and atmosphere of RIKI RAMEN BĀ are palpable every day
Contributing your own ideas and further developing the concept together with us
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THIS POSITION
Experience in the restaurant industry, ideally already with responsibility for a business or team
Enjoyment of being a host – not just organizationally, but truly in direct contact
A hands-on mentality and the Willingness to pitch in wherever needed in a small team
Natural feel for people, atmosphere, and details
Structured, reliable work ethic and the ability to maintain composure even in hectic situations
Interest in ramen, wine, sake, or culinary arts in general
Comfortable use of standard administrative tools
