Role description:

The role recipient will be responsible with managing the firm's IT infrastructure, balancing hands-on technical support as well as longer-term strategies duties of developing the IT capabilities to support the firm's business needs and keep systems in line with industry best standards.

Core Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management and Performance Monitoring:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud systems;
• Implement system upgrades, ensuring high system uptime to meet business objectives;
• Monitor network traffic and server performance.

System Security (including Cyber Security) & Stability:

• Develop, implement and maintain (cyber) security concepts, protocols, firewalls, and data backups, including disaster recovery planning and execises.

IT Support:

• Oversee technical support services, resolving hardware/software issues for staff.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in IT systems and network administration;
• Deep understanding of Windows (and preferably also Linux) operating systems, network security protocols, and cloud technologies;
• Hands-on problem solver, team player and self-starter, ready to come-up with and implement (independently or alongside colleagues) solutions to infrastructure issues and bottlenecks;
• Dev Ops experience desirable but not essential;
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field (or equivalent experience).
