Capacity Planner
Your Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and continuously enhance an end-to-end capacity planning process across multi-tier external suppliers
- Ensure full visibility of capacity constraints and availability, identifying bottlenecks and excess capacity, and triggering appropriate mitigation actions
- Establish and maintain a strong foundation for S&OP processes, including committed output, scenario planning, and structured decision support
- Perform forecast, demand, and scenario analyses to proactively identify risks and opportunities across markets, customers, and business units
- Analyze forecast vs. actual deviations, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions
Coordinate ramp-up and ramp-down scenarios in close collaboration with internal functions and external suppliers - Partner with Supply Chain, Category Management, Production, and other stakeholders to ensure supply continuity, flexibility, and alignment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, KPIs, and data quality within demand and capacity planning
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, S&OP, or Capacity/Forecast Planning
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proven experience working with external suppliers and cross-functional, international teams
- Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to operate in complex planning environments
- Experience with advanced analytics, data management, machine learning, or big data (a plus)
- Very good English skills; German is an advantage
