In this high-impact role, you will take full ownership of our business with existing customers while expanding our footprint by acquiring new clients across the region.

Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Your main tasks
- As Account Manager, you will:
- Own and develop current and future business with existing customers
- Act as the central interface between customers, management, and product areas
- Build a deep understanding of customer decision-making processes and actively manage long-term relationships
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire new projects within existing accounts
- As Business Development Manager, you will:
- Acquire new customers across the USA and Canada
- Monitor market trends and developments in Pharma and Biotech, actively pursuing new sales opportunities
- Present and promote our products and platforms at international industry events
- Represent the company at seminars, trade fairs, and congresses
- In both roles, you will:
- Prepare quotations and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Lead contract and price negotiations
- Manage contracts and drive processes in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across functions
- Total travel commitment of approximately 3–6 weeks per year, spread across 4–5 trips annually to attend trade fairs, conferences, and customer meetings in Europe and North America
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable customer-facing, product-oriented role; industry experience is a plus
- University degree in science, engineering, economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Additional business qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage for candidates with a scientific or technical background
- Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, proactive “can-do” attitude, and ability to think and act strategically
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); conversational German is a plus
