There is so much micromanagement, and favoritism. The company's culture encourages presenteeism and adherence to 'working hard' values, which made it difficult to achieve a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, expectations are not communicated clearly, which made it challenging to understand priorities. There was also a lack of transparency which made it difficult to feel confident in any decision-making.
Despite the company's rhetoric of being a "family," the reality was far from it. The high turnover created an atmosphere of uncertainty.
While every company has its own unique culture and management style, I feel that these areas could be improved to create a more positive and inclusive work environment.
Have a more human approach towards both current and past employees. Don't expect employees to work as if the company were their own, because it is not.
