Unfortunately, my experiences there weren’t particularly positive. In particular, I found the leadership at the headquarters in Basel to be unprofessional and, at times, questionable. In my view, there is a clear need for improvement here, especially in how employees are treated. Unfortunately, there was also repeated gossip about employees, which I found very inappropriate. In my view, the onboarding process was also not sufficiently structured and left much to be desired.

My experience is short, as I don't know all the departments well, but it was an interesting experience for me. For example, quality is paramount in the Coop factory and all employees do their best to deliver high quality products to the community.

I worked at Coop briefly and I want to work in the same environment every year because our department needs extra people for a certain type of pastry just before New Year. It is a very good working environment. All work standards are respected and all teams work together like a family.
