Not recommended
Too much space and no control. Some employees like that quite well and you can settle in nicely.
Learning from mistakes and not making the same mistakes over and over again. Know-how about products and applications of the employees would have to be massively improved.

Regularly seek out the dialogue with the employees to find out where "the shoe pinches" and what the mood is like within the team. Training to rebuild know-how that was lost through change.
