Netstal has an open and straightforward culture. From the CEO down to the apprentices, everyone is on a first-name basis, and interactions are respectful and direct. Netstal offers exciting high-tech products, an international environment, and the opportunity to take on responsibility—and, above all, a culture that suits me. A lot of freedom and flexible working hours also let me enjoy my hobbies during the week. Some of the internal processes could be a bit simpler and faster. Due to the dynamic market environment, priorities occasionally change on short notice, which isn’t always clear to everyone and requires a great deal of flexibility. In addition, in my view, the compensation is more or less in line with the market average and isn’t the main reason why people work at Netstal. On the other hand, the pension plan is a plus, and the workweek is 40 hours. However, the company culture, the colleagues, and the exciting tasks more than make up for this.

Major cultural change underway. The company has set all sails for success and is struggling to survive in Switzerland as an export-oriented mechanical engineering company in the long term.

I am happy to work at Netstal and that my work is also appreciated. My supervisor (IT) is very competent, helpful, loyal, demanding, but always fair.

In some cases, the processes take too long, but they are constantly being optimized.

The company produces good products, where the economy shows that it is worth buying expensive products.
