Swiss Table is a donation-funded foundation that has been collecting surplus food and non-food items in perfect condition and distributing them free of charge to social institutions in Switzerland since 2001 – around 35 tonnes per day.
By preventing food waste, Swiss Table creates a tangible social benefit and contributes measurably to climate protection: it supports people affected by poverty and prevents unnecessary CO₂ emissions.
