The interview is a pure exercise of power. The persons in charge know exactly what is written in a CV and in the second interview they are dissatisfied and criticize everything they don't like, like in an interrogation. Before inviting a candidate to an interview, you should be clear about what you are getting into. An HR specialist should know this. Otherwise go over the books again.
