NovaMea SA is an EPFL spin-off based in the innovation park in Saint-Sulpice (VD), Switzerland, developing next-generation electrochemical energy storage and conversion technologies. The company focuses on scalable, cost-effective solutions for a zero-emission energy system, including anion exchange membrane water electrolyzers for green hydrogen production, alongside a pipeline of additional electrolyzer technologies targeting large markets. NovaMea has also developed a universal materials platform, producing novel membranes for electro-recycling (e.g., Li recycling), green hydrogen production, and long duration energy storage by flow batteries. We have also created an AI platform to accelerate the development and validation of these novel technologies.
