OERTLI Werkzeuge AG is an internationally active Swiss family-owned company with more than 100 years of experience in the development, manufacture and distribution of precision tools for the machining of solid wood and wood-based materials. Today, we employ around 250 people, approximately 150 of whom work at our headquarters in Höri, Switzerland. We also operate subsidiaries and sales companies in the Benelux countries, Austria, Germany, Hungary, the United Kingdom, France, Poland and the Baltic States. OERTLI develops and manufactures customised tooling solutions for the window and door industry, sawmills, planing mills and industrial timber construction. Our portfolio is complemented by a comprehensive range of standard tools for joineries, carpentries and interior fit-out companies, including routers, drill bits, profile cutters, planer heads, circular saw blades and clamping systems for modern CNC machining centres and timber processing machines. Depending on the machining requirements, our tools are available in HSS, carbide, solid carbide, indexable insert or diamond-tipped versions. As a training company, we are committed to developing young talent. Around 20 apprentices complete their vocational training at OERTLI as Polymechanics, Production Mechanics, Logistics Specialists or Commercial Employees within the Swiss MEM industry.
