Re: Pension and Wealth Management General Agency in Aarau: As a financial planner, I was involved in a pilot project with a clearly defined scope of responsibilities. Lead generation was supposed to be handled by the pension advisors, though actual support from management was rather limited. Expectations were communicated regularly, but concrete implementation or sustained support were often lacking. When targets were not met, tasks were sometimes assigned that did not correspond to the original job description of a field representative. The work environment initially seems very pleasant and collegial. Over time, however, it became clear that certain statements and expectations should be viewed with caution.

Lots of fringe benefits and great culture
This works well in the company
I'm really enthusiastic about my employer. AXA has so many great offers and benefits for employees that I couldn't ask for more! From discounted insurance and banking products to special rewards and life events, family support and flexibility at work - AXA really looks after us. What's more, I've just found out that further measures will be introduced from 2025 to support me when I'm unwell or in special situations (e.g. 8 weeks' paternity leave). It helps to know that my employer is so committed to the well-being of its employees. For me, AXA is not only an employer whose culture promotes trust, encourages me to make and implement suggestions and is less hierarchical, but also an employer that takes its social responsibility seriously and promotes flexible employees. The corporate culture values collaboration, personal development and diversity, and you can feel that. I appreciate working here.
