Swissmechanic Zürich (SMZH) is the cantonal section of the Swiss Association of Mechanical and Technical Enterprises (Swissmechanic) in the canton of Zurich. Based in Effretikon, the association supports over 165 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the mechanical, electrical, and metal (MEM) industry with recruitment, training, and professional development.
SMZH offers a wide range of educational services, including intercompany courses, business-oriented training, preparatory courses for the IPA, and individualized training programs. A particular focus is placed on promoting young professionals, especially through the internship platform, which facilitates entry into technical professions for young people.
