SVGW enjoys a good reputation in the industry and is well-regarded by its members. The level of support from the volunteer system is encouragingly high.

Unfortunately, neither the Executive Board nor the executive staff at the headquarters are living up to their own standards: the spirit of the association is barely noticeable, and the executive staff is even displaying downright aloof managerial airs without understanding the concerns of the members.
