For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for Business Operations Manager/ Project manager for pRED (m/f/d)

Then this might be for you. As part of our team, you will work together with the pRED Basel Site Head and handle business operations of the pRED Basel Site Office. You will support ongoing and future activities with impact on the overall vision of a happy, healthy, successful pRED Basel community. We do not expect this role to be monotonous, but rather diverse with activities and topics frequently changing based on strategic priorities and needs of the organization in any given period.

You have several years' experience working in a lab (Bachelor or Master degree in life science) and an interest in topics related to create and maintain an inclusive and sustainable work environment, employee engagement, and productivity. Curiosity, continuous learning and high flexibility are key. Understanding how our pRED organization works and curiosity for how a scientific community thinks are crucial for this position. To help our team and organization best, you have an open mindset towards new ideas, are comfortable working in an agile environment, are able to listen, and demonstrate a can-do attitude.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

• Leading the pRED Basel community in the best way possible through its move into the new pRED Center and to future ways of working
• Fostering a vibrant innovation culture across the organization and ensuring we have the right environment to do so
• Bringin the company's purpose into the pRED Center
• Further strengthening pRED's reputation within the company's community as well as within the Basel area
• Supporting life sciences education in Switzerland
• Lead and manage projects and initiatives to prepare and support the move to the pRED Center
• Act as a deputy for the pRED Basel Site Head, and represent pRED Basel towards internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to and help execute the pRED Basel Site vision & strategy within the bigger One pRED picture
• Identify topics relevant for the pRED Basel scientific community, engage with our colleagues, and write key messages and/or short articles for publication on different communications channels, help prepare presentations
• Be an ambassador for pRED within the company as well as the Basel area
• Support the business operations of the pRED Basel Site Office to operate and communicate effectively, providing hands-on, operational support is also part of the role
• Work with the pRED Basel Site Leadership Team in planning and administration of key agenda points and goals

Must Haves:

• You have 3+ years experience working in a lab and Bachelor or Master degree or phd in life science
• You are motivated by making an impact for our employees, on patient's lives, and society
• Enjoy connecting with people, have the ability to build relationships and work in networks, think across functions and sites, demonstrate a One pRED mindset
• Communicate effectively and tailored to the audience
• Have led programs or initiatives with many different stakeholders involved
• Have experience in communicating news, e.g. lab and office moves, to colleagues, setting up and orchestrating networks to act as sounding boards into the organization
• Can work on individual initiatives or topics while keeping the big picture in mind and are able to prioritize and act on tasks with the highest impact
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills
• You are able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and dare to challenge the status quo
• You are willing to roll-up your sleeves and also handle the operational and administrative tasks that come with such a role
• Know how to identify, collect and use data analytics to help decision-making, and have digital/technology affinity

Nice to Have:
