The Customer Quality Engineer represents the external customer and is responsible to ensure that the product is manufactured according to the customer/internal specifications. He/She coordinates all Quality activities within the area of responsibility (complaint management, problem solving activities, internal quality) in order to achieve the required quality targets.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer relations and complaint management
- Act as a contact person for all quality topics in relation to the customer's specifications
- Maintain collaborative relationships with customers
- Manage actively the customer complaints in direct contact with the relevant production departments
- Lead quality and root-cause analysis of claimed/returned actuators
- Handle external change management with customers (change announcement, PPAP submission)
- Participate in the execution of audits and be the customer voice in production
Our requirements:
- Engineering degree - preferred to the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related
- Relevant experience of ideally 2 years in a similar position; Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply
- Quality related experience in metal parts manufacturing would be an asset
- Familiarity in the problem-solving methodology by using Q-tools such as 8D, Fault-Tree Analysis, Ishikawa
- Basic technical experience in DC / BLDC / stepper motors, plastic and injection materials, stamping would be an asset
- Familiarity with test procedures and equipment for automotive applications would be an asset
- Proficient French and English language skills - both written and verbal (knowledge of German is considered a plus)
- Highly team-oriented individual, capable of dealing with pressure and adversity
- Proactive and organized person with high communication and problem-solving skills
- Good time management and collaboration skills, coupled with 0 PPM mentality
