The Market Data Group at Bank Pictet oversees the financial and operational handling of financial data used by the Pictet Group. This team, made up of experts in financial markets, focuses on providing guidance, advice, and market data solutions to different sector within the bank. 

Your role

The newly appointed Market Data & Financial Analyst will be charged with the upkeep of our product catalogue and contractual records, as well as handling the financial elements associated with the bank's Market Data operations, from developing budgets to monitoring ongoing expenses. In the details, this team member will : 
 

• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders across the Division and the Business Lines (including C-level) on the production of dedicated reporting (forecasting, reconciliation, accruals).


• Manage our Market Data cost allocation across our Business Lines, ensuring an accurate reflection of corporate information and related data consumption. 


• Cooperate with Market Data stakeholders across the Business Lines to assist them on their use of external data, driving business value increase and cost efficiency gains. 


• Develop and maintain dashboards and datasets in link with the usage and consumption of Market Data within the Business Lines. 


• Drive the maintenance and evolution of the IT system acting as a repository of the Bank’s Market Data contractual agreements with our external providers. 


• Maintain the Bank's contractual data within the supporting IT system.


• Take charge of the construction, analysis and monitoring of the Market Data budget within the Bank’s IT system. 

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.


• Proven experience in the banking sector, preferably with a focus on Market Data.


• Strong skills in accounting and analytics, particularly in relation to cost distribution across an organization.


• Analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis is a strong plus (BI tools). 


• Familiarity with data modelling and data warehousing tools. 


• Fluent in French and excellent command of English.


• Must be resident in Switzerland.
