The city police force, with its over 250 employees, is committed to a safe and trustworthy Winterthur. To complement our team in the Violence Protection Department (Domestic Violence Unit), we are looking for a motivated policewoman or policeman to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Investigate and report on cases of domestic violence
Implement or request preventive and postvention measures in the mentioned area, including protective measures, perpetrator and victim follow-ups, etc.
General criminal police casework
Support the department’s internal threat management
Cooperate with other police forces, public prosecutors, child and adult protection authorities (KESB), psychiatric institutions, and other partner organisations (e.g. victim support centres)

Your Profile

Police officer with a federal diploma/certificate and solid professional experience
High physical and mental resilience as well as holistic and networked thinking
Strong social and communication skills, confident and correct demeanour, and excellent team spirit
A flair for interdisciplinary collaboration with partner organisations and high perseverance
Willingness to perform criminal police on-call duties at weekends and other assignments (e.g. order service)
