About the job
The Regional Care Centre Baden is one of the largest providers of long-term care in Switzerland. We offer our residents of all ages specialised professional nursing and care in various areas of expertise. Our headquarters in Baden (AG) will be comprehensively modernised in the coming years through new construction and renovations, complemented by 86 new retirement apartments.
The Dementia Department currently accommodates 72 and will in future accommodate 170 residents. The nursing departments are operated according to the three worlds model by Christoph Held. For the newly created position at the RPB location in Baden, we are looking for an expert, reliable and committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement as
Specialist Responsibility Nursing
Dementia Department, 80 – 100% workload
In this role you will support us by:
- Taking professional leadership of the staff in the nursing department in consultation with the nursing department management and the nursing specialist
- Ensuring the nursing and care of our residents within the framework of primary nursing, which includes professional and evidence-based care
- Reflecting on, reviewing and planning appropriate and sustainable implementation strategies for the professional development of staff together with the nursing department management and the team, e.g. consolidation of the nursing process, implementation of professional innovations, coaching of staff, etc.
- Advising, enabling and supporting the nursing team in complex and challenging care situations
- Reviewing work instructions, participating in projects and conducting knowledge transfers in the nursing department
- Conducting regular case discussions in the nursing department
- Participating directly in nursing and working in the incontinence group
You can convince us with:
- A completed training as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF / FH with additional CAS / DAS training in the field of dementia or a Bachelor of Nursing degree
- In-depth knowledge of validation and/or basal stimulation
- Experience in professional leadership which you can sustainably apply for the benefit of the nursing department
- Experience in a comparable position, preferably in the long-term care sector
- Enjoyment in implementing and accompanying change processes
- An empathetic, innovative, flexible and cheerful personality with a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting
