The Social Office of the Social Region Olten provides economic social assistance and personal counselling for people in various life situations on behalf of the affiliated municipalities. For the team leadership in regular social assistance / asylum social assistance, we are looking for a committed and experienced professional as Team Leader Regular Social Assistance / Asylum Social Assistance 60 % - 100 % starting August 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks
Case management in regular social assistance and asylum social assistance
- Check and clarify responsibility as well as the financial entitlements of applicants according to cantonal and municipal guidelines
- Support those seeking help in asserting claims against social insurances and other third parties
- Advise individuals and families in difficult life situations and initiate individual measures and assistance
- Write reports and decisions as well as perform various administrative tasks
Team leadership
- You support employees with complex case developments and professional questions
- You ensure, together with your team, high-quality, effective and equitable advice
- You work closely with the Social Office management and support the development of processes and professional standards
Expectations
- You have a tertiary-level qualification in social work or an equivalent qualification
- You bring solid professional experience in economic social assistance
- You want to take the first professional step into a leadership role
- You convince through clarity, reliability and communication skills
