Tax Specialist with Temporary Deputy Head of Tax 80-100%

Is it important to you to handle concerns and inquiries both personally and by phone with pleasure and courtesy? Then you are warmly welcome at the tax office in the city of Rorschach. We are looking to strengthen our team from January 1, 2026, or by arrangement:

Tax Specialist (80-100%) (with temporary deputy head of tax)

• You independently assess and review tax returns including securities listings
• You are a competent contact person for our customers at the counter or on the phone
• You maintain the tax register
• You assist in the further development of internal processes

• Expert knowledge and several years of experience in St. Gallen tax law
• Further training e.g. GFS or SSK1 and/or SSK2
• Knowledge of the SN tax software is an advantage
• Enjoyment in contact with the public
• Good communication skills
• A flair for digital work
• Reliability and openness to new things

A collaboration with the municipality of Goldach is being sought, which will affect both the workplace and the team in the tax office. It is planned to offer municipal and administrative services through a competence center from January 1, 2027.
