Purely site-based role This is a purely on-site presence role. Direct collaboration on site promotes close real-time exchange and ensures the technical precision required for the manufacture of medicines according to the highest quality and safety standards.

Your tasks:
- Planning and configuration of Emerson DeltaV automation solutions, control strategies, interfaces, visualisations, and alarm structures for site-related CAPEX projects.
- Managing the entire project lifecycle in close, interdisciplinary collaboration with teams from engineering, operations, validation, quality assurance, and project management.
- Leading system integration activities to connect DeltaV to process plants, PLCs, supply systems, and MES platforms.
- Creating, executing, and maintaining GxP-compliant documentation, including protocols for commissioning, qualification, and validation (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ).
- Practical troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve complex automation and communication issues.
- Consistent adherence to GMP standards, data integrity guidelines, and formal change management procedures.
- Technical guidance and mentoring of junior team members as well as contributing to continuous improvement processes in process automation.
Your profile:
- Completed studies in automation technology, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven practical experience in the development and configuration of Emerson DeltaV systems in a regulated life sciences environment.
- Sound knowledge of GxP compliance, data integrity guidelines, and formal validation and qualification methods (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ).
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex control systems and communication interfaces within the scope of CAPEX project execution.
- Fluent German language skills (required), business fluent English (preferred).
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities in interdisciplinary teams.
