Junior Doctor Centre for Geriatric Medicine 100%

Duration: 1-4 months

As a junior doctor in the Centre for Geriatric Medicine, you can contribute to everyday work, actively participate in the medical team and gain valuable experience.

• You accompany and support our assistant doctors during admission examinations, conduct geriatric assessments, ward rounds and administrative tasks.
• If desired and suitable, you can independently care for inpatients under supervision.
• As a student, you will be closely accompanied and supported by the assistant doctor as well as the senior physician. This allows you to gain your first practical experience in caring for geriatric, multimorbid or seriously ill patients in the palliative care ward.
• Insight into outpatient dementia assessment, consultation service and participation in the care of residents in long-term care is possible.

• You are studying human medicine at a university.
• You can integrate into operational processes, show interest and a friendly manner with patients, staff and superiors.
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form (from level C1).

• Regular working hours without night shifts.
• An open-minded medical team that warmly welcomes you and involves you in daily work.
