About the job

• Lead the team personnel-wise, organizationally, and technically and promote the further development of team members.
• Act as the main contact person for the operation of drinking water production and ensure a secure supply in Basel-Stadt and the agglomeration.
• Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of public fountains in Basel-Stadt.
• Ensure the interests of the operation through active participation and coordination in maintenance work and renewal projects.
• Be responsible for compliance with all hygiene, safety, and quality standards and implement necessary process optimizations.

• Enjoy taking co-responsibility for the drinking water supply with commitment.
• You convince with experience in a similar role in the field of drinking water supply or food production.
• Completed university degree in process engineering, environmental engineering, or similar, ideally complemented by a professional certificate as a well master.
• Leadership is close to your heart – with your positive attitude, you succeed in balancing empowerment and enforcement.
• You have a category B driving license and are open to on-call duties.
