Postgraduate Emergency Care Programme Manager
The Training Centre is seeking a training manager at an 80% workload for a permanent contract. The start date is scheduled for 1 September 2026, or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals, with one of its three missions being education.
The CHUV Training Centre coordinates all learning at CHUV and offers a wide range of courses to continuously enhance the skills of hospital professionals. These trainings enable everyone to approach their work with confidence – and contribute to the excellence of services provided to patients and their relatives.
Nationally recognised by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), the Training Centre leads specialised nursing programmes such as the Postgraduate Studies in Emergency Care (EPD SU).
Mission
- You carry out teaching activities and support the development of professional skills
- You lead the educational engineering and programme evaluation
- You manage the quality, governance and formal administration of the programme
- You coordinate educational stakeholders and ensure the follow-up of professionals in training (PEF)
- You represent, promote and develop the programme and the Training Centre.
Maintaining a parallel clinical activity is possible.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent qualification
- You have a Master’s degree in nursing sciences or an equivalent training
- You possess a postdiploma ES training diploma in the programme’s speciality
- You have 5 years of clinical experience in the specific field of the programme or an equivalent area
- You have 2 years of experience in the field of education.
