The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega provides professional medical assistance from the air around the clock to patients in Switzerland and worldwide. It is a non-profit and private foundation supported by more than 3.7 million patrons.

To complement our crew at the helicopter base in Basel at the international EuroAirport, we are looking for a new team member starting 1 September 2027. As a committed individual, you will be exactly right with us in the varied and demanding field of air rescue!

These tasks will inspire you

• Situation-appropriate medical care of patients in collaboration with the emergency doctor
• Ensuring safe and smooth flight operations as a crew member
• Operational tasks in the helicopter in cooperation with the pilot
• Operation of the rescue winch
• Taking on a variety of general tasks at the base to ensure 24-hour operation
• Maintaining contact with partners and participating in specialist committees

What distinguishes you

• Completed training as a Certified Paramedic HF
• At least three years of professional experience in a Swiss rescue service after completing training
• Team spirit, strong service orientation as well as mental and physical resilience
• Enthusiasm for technology and extensive technical understanding
• Interest in alpine rescue and confident behaviour in difficult terrain
• Experience with intensive care patients, including paediatric patients
• German as mother tongue, fluent in French and good knowledge of English
• Between 30 and 45 years old
• Residence in the Basel region
