Medical Practice Assistant

Profile

Medical practice assistants are the medical staff’s collaborators. They independently handle certain administrative tasks, diagnostic techniques and, under medical instruction, also therapeutic tasks. Their field of activity includes work in the medical practice, office, laboratory and radiology.

At the Lugano Regional Hospital, the position of medical practice assistant can be performed either within a medical secretariat or within the nursing service.

Required qualifications

• Federal certificate of capacity as a medical practice assistant
• Good knowledge of the Italian language, spoken and written

Desired qualifications

• Knowledge of another national language (German or French)
