We maintain long-standing relationships with leading manufacturers from various industries, including the automotive industry, energy and environmental technology, plastics technology, mechatronics, medical technology, and mechanical and plant engineering. The scope of our employees' tasks includes the examination of products, processes and systems as well as their development and design or optimisation or engineering of large plants and special machines.

Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Development and design of products or plant components from the concept phase to series maturity
• Development of solution concepts taking into account functional, manufacturing and economic requirements
• Carrying out calculations and simulations
• Development and optimisation of assemblies and their subsystems
• Preparation of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
• Interdisciplinary collaboration within the project
• Support in prototype construction, testing and commissioning
• Documentation of requirements, development and test results

Your profile

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, plastics technology or a comparable field
• Professional experience (approx. 2–5 years) in product development or plant engineering
• Knowledge of design methodology, manufacturing technology and materials science
• Sound knowledge in the use of 3D CAD systems (e.g. CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, ...)
• Familiar with calculation and simulation programmes
• Good communication skills (German C2, English)
• You are self-initiated, goal-oriented and convince with a considered and well-structured way of working
• You work independently, have a confident manner and a healthy assertiveness
