Public Prosecutor's Office / 80–100 % / Chur or Thusis
The Public Prosecutor's Office with its 70 employees is an independent body from the criminal jurisdiction, both functionally and materially. It conducts criminal investigations against adults and juveniles in cases of crimes, offenses, and violations, and must enforce the state's right to punish. The main office of the Public Prosecutor's Office is in Chur. It has agencies in Davos, Ilanz, Roveredo, Samedan, and Thusis.
For the Public Prosecutor's Office, we are looking for a referendary for April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your field of responsibilities
- Cooperate in criminal investigations
- Manage the protocol during interrogations and draft various legal writings and orders
- Process violations according to the provisions of the Swiss Code of Criminal Procedure, under the direction of a public prosecutor or a public prosecutor's office
- Handle diverse secretarial tasks and work closely with various offices, service points, and courts
What we expect from you
- Completed basic commercial education (school or commercial apprenticeship) with a few years of professional experience
- Very good language skills (both written and spoken) in German and preferably additionally in Italian
- Impeccable conduct
- Independence, reliability, efficiency, discretion, flexibility as well as the ability to work in a team and a strong ability to handle pressure
- Confident use of common IT tools
- Knowledge of additional languages
